Our team join yours on a fractional basis whenever you need help each month.

Many of our clients have an ongoing need for legal services each month and engage with us on a fractional basis. Our lawyers act as specialist in-house growth counsel,  supporting our clients from inside their businesses. Of course,  legal issues don’t all conveniently arrive on the same day each month, so think of this as a day of support from an experienced growth specialist lawyer over the course of the month.

 Our daily rates start at £2,000 per day and we can be flexible on engagements requiring multiple days per month.

Fixed Fee

We work together on a single project. 


‍This works best for scopes of work that are likely for a limited amount of time or have a tangible and defined end point. A very good example of this is advising a company through an investment transaction or updating corporate contract terms. Many of our current clients’ initial engagements were on a fixed fee basis for an agreed scope and are now utilising our services on a monthly retainer.  

Hourly Rates

A traditional approach.

‍Whilst not our preferred way of engaging with clients,  we can operate on an hourly basis if it is in the best interests and wishes of the client.  We prefer not to work in this way as we aim to be more solution-focused and pragmatic,  rather than the traditional legal model of “selling time” and being constantly on the clock. A typical hourly rate for a Senior Lawyer would be £400 per hour and we can structure this on an “hours in advance” or “hours billed” arrangement.
